“Just as clothes make women feel glamorous and confident, a well designed home brings peace and comfort to one’s environment,” says Monique St. Germain. For more than 25 years, Monique has been bringing her expertise, talent, and eye for detail to create one-of-a-kind personal spaces.
Monique’s entree into interior design came through sewing and textile design. She began creating and sewing her own wardrobe as a teenager. That led to her college experience of designing theatrical costumes. After earning a B.A. at Boston College, an M.B.A. at Suffolk University, and attending the New England School of Art & Design, Monique combined her creative and business skills to launch her interior design firm.
Since founding her company, Interiors by Monique Inc., Monique has handled a wide range of projects including new construction, remodeling, updating, down sizing, and second homes.
Community service and volunteerism are important values in Monique’s life. In the past she was previously involved with Wellesley Service League and on the Board of Directors of Wellesley Friendly Aid. In addition she served as the past president of the Wellesley Gardener’s Guild and has been a member of Women’s Business Network.
Monique is an Allied Member of A.S.I.D. American Society of Interior Designers since 1993.

“Monique was collaborating on a project to help renovate a dreary space but I didn’t know where to begin. Monique offered her services and within one month had transformed the space with paint, new carpeting and her additional furnishings. She is wonderful to work with and I can’t thank her enough for her help.”
